Abstract

We document the first occurrence of 14 species and one variety of vascular plants, from Muong Nhe Nature Reserve, Dien Bien province, Vietnam, as new records for the country. This floristically rich area, located in northwestern Vietnam near the border with Yunnan province, China, is recognized as an important center of plant biodiversity with numerous rare and endemic taxa. For each recorded taxon, detailed information on habitat, phenology, distribution, and voucher specimens is presented, accompanied by photographic evidence.
